Bags secured!!! Never have I been so angry and pleased at the same time. Commence vacationing.
It’s now 10pm and in a cab heading to an airport we didn’t fly to to get our bags. United won’t deliver because they made the right flight.
Which is impossible, since we missed our connecting flight by a half hour and we physically saw our bags on the ground being unloaded!
It continues…our luggage is lost and Madeline is feeling sick.
And now another flight delay! A quick pair of flights to Disneyland is turning into a special full day of traveling adventure of its own.
Flight delay caused us to miss a flight. Now taking a much later flight to a different airport. Oh, and Caiden tripped and cut his head open
Vacation has started out right with a flight delay. Funny how this happens only when I’ve got the whole family with me.

The Burbank airport is actually less crowded than I’ve ever seen the Eugene airport.
A couple of basketball thoughts while watching tonight’s NBA game…..
The coaches “Wired” segments make me laugh because NBA coaches say nothing more insightful than I said while coaching freshmen boys.
Why do players universally slap hands with their teammates after missed free throws? The best thing to do is to stay on the line to adjust.
And why are they celebrating a missed free throw with a hand slap anyway? Do they really need the support and encouragement?
